During the install, we removed the old door frame and installed the door with a custom door jamb. No rotten wood was found, and our new frame is made from our composite material. This way there will never be rot on the door again. New inside color matched trim was installed to create a truly rich finish.

Header work as well as removal of wall was required for this installation. We did find some damage to the opening during install that we replaced at no additional cost. We also installed 2 2 lite sliders and one double hung window. This homeowner is replacing windows in parts as they do other remodeling in the home. I am sure that new patio door will be the most used opening in their home in the future once the deck is completed.

It was interesting trying to get this in the opening, with it off the ground, but we took extra care that really made the difference. This bay window, along with its beautiful views, comes with a 50 year warranty. We installed new inside trim work to truly finish this product off.
